very lucky indeed.
In some sad news my sis suffered the loss of Mabel, one of her three hens yesterday. I'd had the privilege of visiting her wonderful flock a few times, and lucky and loved are apt descriptors...
From when they were soooo very small



And they needed a place to be...

so that they

could grow to this...


still, I'm very very sad cause I love my sister and don't want her to be in any pain.
